More About Sibros' $70M Series B Funding

Yesterday was a huge milestone for all of us here at Sibros as we officially announced our $70M Series B funding round. The investment was led by Energy Impact Partners with participation from Fontinalis Partners, Google, Iron Pillar and Qualcomm Ventures and our existing investors, Moneta Ventures and Nexus Venture Partners. We will be using the new funding to expand our connected vehicle product suite, enter new geographies and industry segments, as well as support upcoming large scale multi-geography deployments for our customers.

I am thankful for the great team that has come together at Sibros from all walks of life to help solve challenging problems and make a positive impact on the world. A lot of hard work has gone into building the company, but we are just getting started.

Our approach to building the team and company are rooted in an unparalleled work ethic, a strong moral compass, honesty, integrity, transparency, openness, mutual respect, and kindness. We feel comfortable hearing feedback from others on the team because we know they are well intentioned and they have our back. From day one, we have focused on detailed planning, putting high quality processes in place, automating workflows, questioning everything we do and every tool we use, building trust, and reflecting and learning from every decision we make.

Alongside this mindset, we try our very best to treat our customers with empathy, as they are at the heart of everything we do. We listen to our customers and add their feedback into our product, and over time we have been able to ‘crowdsource' more ideas and features than any one customer alone. With this approach, our customers are able to take advantage of the collective knowledge of a broader group. They can capitalize on the trends in the industry, and create superior products on top of our platform and I am extremely excited for the impact that Sibros can have on the whole world.
